Thomas O. Might
President and Chief Executive Officer
Thomas O. Might, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cable ONE, joined The Washington Post in 1978 as assistant to publisher Donald Graham, after a business internship in the summer of 1977. He was promoted to Vice President-Production in 1982 and served in that position until 1987, when he became Vice President-Production and Marketing. In 1991, Might was named Vice President-Advertising Sales.
In 1993, Might was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Post-Newsweek Cable, The Washington Post Company's cable television division, assuming responsibility for all of the company's cable systems. He became President and Chief Executive Officer in 1994. In June 1997, Might changed the name of Post-Newsweek Cable to Cable ONE.
Might currently serves on the board of the American Cable Association and the board of C-SPAN.
Might was as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Army from 1972 to 1976. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Julie M. Laulis
Chief Operating Officer
Julie Laulis is Chief Operating Officer for Cable ONE. Laulis oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, as well as providing leadership for sales, marketing, and technology.
Laulis joined Cable ONE in 1999 as Director of Marketing-NW Division. In 2001, she was named Vice President of Operations for the SW Division, where she was responsible for overall operations of 14 systems, representing approximately 130,000 customers. In 2004, she accepted the additional responsibility for starting up Cable ONE’s Phoenix Customer Care Center. Laulis was named Chief Operations Officer in 2008, responsible for the company’s three operation divisions and two call centers. In 2013, Laulis was named Chief Operating Officer of Cable ONE, adding sales, marketing, and technology to her responsibilities.
Prior to joining Cable ONE, Laulis was with Jones Communications in the Washington, DC area, joining as Marketing Manager. She became Director of Marketing in Jones' Denver headquarters and returned to the DC area as Senior Director of Marketing when Jones became the largest cable operator in the region. Her more than 10-year tenure ended when Jones was purchased by Comcast in 1999. Laulis began her 30-year career in the cable industry with Hauser Communications. She joined as a customer service representative, and later became training coordinator, customer service manager, and then marketing manager.
Laulis graduated cum laude from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications. She attended the Woman in Cable Television Betsy Magness Leadership Institute in 1998-1999, and graduated from the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 2002. In 2004 she returned to Harvard to study Business Strategy, and has helped lead Cable ONE’s strategic planning since that time.
Throughout her career, Laulis has served in leadership positions for a variety of industry and community organizations, including: Vice President of the Washington/Baltimore Cable Marketing Council; Treasurer of Women in Cable and Telecommunications, DC Chapter; Board Member of the Colorado Cable TV Association; Secretary and Vice President of Women in Cable Television NM-AZ Chapter; and on the Women’s Leadership Council - Valley of the Sun United Way. In addition, Cable FAX Magazine has named Laulis one of the Most Powerful Women in Cable for the past four years running.
Stephen A. Fox
Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
Stephen A. Fox (Steve) is Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer at Cable ONE. He started his career in 1988 as a programmer/operator for Cable ONE (formerly Post-Newsweek Cable). Current areas of responsibility include information technology, engineering, digital video service, high-speed Internet service, and telephone service.
Fox holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology. In 2000, he graduated from the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
Michael E. Bowker
Senior Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Michael E. Bowker (Mike) is Senior Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Cable ONE. He is responsible for sales and marketing strategy and all aspects of sales activity throughout Cable ONE, including advertising sales, residential sales, and commercial sales.
Bowker joined Cable ONE in 1999 as Advertising Regional Sales Manager. He is a member of the team that successfully launched the commercial sales division and the residential inbound sales call center. Bowker was named Vice President of Sales in 2012, and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in 2014.
Prior to joining Cable ONE, Bowker was with AT&T Media Services and TCI Cable, where he served in various sales management positions.
Bowker is a member of the board of directors for the Cable Advertising Bureau (CAB) and serves on the Nominating Committee.
A native of Boise, Idaho, Bowker holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from Boise State University and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
T. Mitchell Bland
Vice President, Central Division
Mitch Bland is a Vice President of Cable ONE and head of the company’s Central Division. He is based at the company’s Phoenix headquarters and is responsible for 17 cable television systems, serving more than 250,000 customers in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, North and South Dakota.
A 30-year veteran of Cable ONE, Bland began his cable career in 1983 as General Manager for the company in its Gulfport, Mississippi system. He subsequently ran the systems for Cable ONE in Santa Rosa, California and Highland Park, Illinois.
Bland moved to Phoenix in 1997 as Business Director for the Southwest Division and became head of the Nor-West Division in 1998. In 2009, Bland assumed responsibility for Cable ONE’s Central Division. As head of the division, Bland oversees all of the daily operations of the properties including personnel, marketing, operations, capital expenditures, governmental relations, and accounting. Bland was also responsible for the company’s successful acquisition and integration of its Idaho systems from what was then AT&T.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Bland holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
Vice President, Southeast Division
Michelle Cameron is a Vice President of Cable ONE and head of the company’s Southeast Division. She is based at the company’s Phoenix headquarters and is responsible for the overall operations of 13 cable television systems in Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
A 27-year veteran in the cable industry, Cameron began her career in Sales and Marketing at Time Warner Cable. She later moved to Operations as a Customer Service Manager, and then Call Center Operations Management. Cameron also served as General Manager in Nebraska and Idaho with significant experiences in state and local government affairs.
Cameron is the past president of the Idaho Cable Association, past treasurer of the Nebraska Cable Association, treasurer of the Idaho Red Cross, and regional director for Idaho Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Maryland. She is also a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, the Women in Cable Television Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, and the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management CTPAA Public Affairs Institute.
Vice President, New Products and Business Development
Aldo Casartelli is Vice President of New Products and Business Development for Cable ONE. He is responsible for leading and developing new products and lines of business for the company.
Casartelli joined Cable ONE in 1990, and has held several positions in operations, marketing, and technology. In 1998, he founded Cable ONE’s Internet product and led the product’s rapid and successful growth until 2009, at which time it was being purchased by more than half of the company’s customers. During this time he had oversight of all aspects of the product, including engineering, support, and product design. In 2009, as Vice President of Customer Experience, he helped champion new approaches to service design and operational efficiency.
Casartelli began his 32-year cable career with a small, but rapidly expanding cable operator in Arizona. He worked as a customer service agent before advancing into management and executive roles.
Casartelli holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from the Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and an MBA from Arizona State University.
Vice President and Treasurer
Pat Dolohanty is Vice President and Treasurer for Cable ONE. He is responsible for all of the company’s accounting functions, as well as overseeing Purchasing.
Dolohanty joined Cable ONE (formerly Post-Newsweek Cable) in 1987 as the Controller. He was promoted to Vice President/Treasurer in 1992.
Prior to joining Cable ONE, Dolohanty was with the accounting firm of Plante and Moran. He later transitioned into the cable industry in 1982 with Capital Cities Cable (which was purchased by The Washington Post Company in 1986), where he served as a Revenue Supervisor, then created and managed their Self-Assessment Department. Dolohanty later joined The Washington Post as an Audit Manager when Capital Cities Cable was purchased by The Washington Post Company.
Dolohanty has been a member of the NCTA Finance and Operations Committee for more than 15 years. In 2010 he was elected into the AZ-NM Cable Communications Association Pioneer Hall of Fame.
A native of Wisconsin, Dolohanty holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. In 2005 he graduated from the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
Joseph J. Felbab
Vice President, Marketing
Joseph J. Felbab (Joe) is Vice President of Marketing for Cable ONE. Felbab joined Cable ONE in 2010 and is responsible for all residential and business marketing, including brand advertising, marketing communications, customer acquisition, customer retention, product management, marketing research, public relations, website management, and Internet marketing.
Felbab has more than 25 years of experience in the cable TV, newspaper, packaged goods, and advertising agency industries. Prior to joining Cable ONE, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Time Warner Cable, responsible for their Los Angeles region.
Felbab has held diverse sales and marketing positions at various consumer product companies, including Senior Vice President of Consulting and Client Service at Information Resources Company; Director of Sales & Marketing at the Orange County Register; Vice President of Marketing at Con Agra Foods; and various account service positions at Bozell Advertising in Chicago.
Felbab holds a bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Music from Western Illinois University, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
John D. Gosch
Vice President, West Division
John Gosch is a Vice President of Cable ONE and head of the company’s West Division. He is based at the company’s Phoenix headquarters and is responsible for the overall operations of 13 cable television systems in Arizona, Idaho, and New Mexico.
Gosch began his career in the cable industry in 1978 as an accounting manager for Cablecom-General, the company that eventually became Cable ONE. He moved from Denver to Detroit when the company was acquired by Capital Cities Cable and took on additional responsibilities in financial analysis and reporting in the accounting department.
Gosch then transferred to Phoenix in his first divisional role as a business division manager, when The Washington Post acquired the cable division from Capital Cities Communications. He then spent nine years in Santa Rosa, California as general manager for the second largest cable operation at the time. Gosch later transferred back to Phoenix when he was promoted to Vice President. Before joining the cable television business, Gosch worked in the business office for a Denver-based YMCA.
Gosch holds a BS in Business Management and Accounting from Brigham Young University and he is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
James J. Hannan
Vice President, Engineering and Construction
James J. Hannan (Jim) is Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Cable ONE. Hannan joined Cable ONE in 2003 and is responsible for the quality, reliability, and capacity of Cable ONE’s HFC Network from (and including) the Headend to the customer, and design through construction and certification, including architecture, standards, equipment selection, tools, and maintenance practices.
A 34-year veteran of the communications industry, Hannan has led the development and deployment of cutting-edge broadband technologies domestically and abroad for most of his career. His early experience includes interactive QUBE services with Warner Cable in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He led the engineering and technology efforts of Times Mirror Cable Television for 10 years during the explosion of bandwidth, fiber optics, and addressability.
In the mid 90’s, Hannan joined Continental Cablevision in Australia, where he led the world’s first national-in-scope, commercial deployment of voice, video and high-speed data services on an integrated Hybrid Fiber/Coax system. He then leveraged the learnings from this successful effort into the U.S. while managing MediaOne’s National Program Office.
Hannan then joined Sprint to lead the engineering, build-out, and ongoing technical operations of Sprint’s industry first fixed wireless high speed data/voice network, passing nearly 20 million households and small businesses.
A native of Shoreham, NY, Hannan holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY at Stony Brook.
Vice President, Finance and Strategy
Eric Lardy is Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Cable ONE. He is responsible for oversight of the Finance and Strategy teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning and analysis.
A 17-year veteran in the cable industry, Lardy joined Cable ONE as a Pay-Per-View Manager in the Fargo, ND cable system. He was later promoted to Internet Business Manager, launching dial-up and high-speed broadband services. Eric relocated several times and held a variety of positions in Marketing, Operations, and system General Management before being promoted to Director of New Products and Service Projects in 2012.
Lardy has bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and International Business from Minnesota State University and an MBA from Arizona State University.
Vice President, Customer Service Operations
Chip McDonald is Vice President of Customer Service Operations for Cable ONE. He is responsible for the oversight of call center and field operations from the perspective of customer service, demand planning, staffing, and process improvement.
McDonald joined Cable ONE in 2008 as an Industrial Engineer. He has more than 15 years of process improvement experience in both manufacturing and customer service, and leads the Operations team with quantitative and strategic approaches to improve quality and reduce costs with the goal of providing world-class customer service to all Cable ONE customers.
Prior to joining Cable ONE, McDonald worked as a Sr. Process Engineer for Three-Five Systems and Brillian Corp.
An Arizona native, McDonald holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
Vice President, Product Development and Support
Kishore Reddy is Vice President of Product Development and Support at Cable ONE. His responsibilities include product roadmaps, development, support, vendor management and infrastructure management for residential and commercial video, broadband, and voice services. He joined Cable ONE in 2004 as Director of Voice Services. In that role, he led the creation and launch of the Cable ONE phone product.
Reddy has more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry, covering all vertical markets and components of the network and back-office infrastructure. With significant experience as both a service provider and a vendor, and in both business and technical capacities, he has brought multiple products from conceptual to successful operating stages.
Prior to joining Cable ONE, Reddy held diverse product management and technology roles at companies including Convergys, AT&T, and General Electric Medical Systems.
Reddy holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from SVU College of Engineering, a master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
Vice President, General Counsel, Director of Administration, and Secretary
Alan Silverman is Vice President, General Counsel, Director of Administration, and Secretary of Cable ONE. He joined The Washington Post Company in 1984 and has been with the Cable Division since 1986.
Silverman holds a B.A. from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY), a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
Janiece St. Cyr
Vice President, Human Resources
Janiece St. Cyr is Vice President of Human Resources for Cable ONE. She is responsible for the Payroll/Benefits Department and the Human Resources Department, as well as creating and implementing company policies that promote Cable ONE’s culture.
St. Cyr moved to Phoenix in 1986 for the opportunity to join the cable television industry and Cable ONE (formerly Post-Newsweek Cable). She was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in 1999.
Prior to joining Cable One, St. Cyr worked in California for Trico Industries in a variety of positions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Supervisor and Fixed Assets Accountant.
St. Cyr is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM); Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association (CTHRA); and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT).
A native of Los Angeles, California, St. Cyr holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Western International University, a master’s degree in Human Resources from Ottawa University, and is a Certified Achieve Global Trainer. She is also a graduate of the Woman in Cable Television Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.
Vice President, Information Technology
Cary Westmark is Vice President of Information Technology at Cable ONE. His responsibilities include providing leadership and direction for server/storage infrastructure, application development, data management and reporting, telecom, and service desk.
Westmark has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, covering many vertical markets including retail, hospitality, energy, aerospace, and technology outsourcing services. Prior to joining Cable ONE in 2013, he held leadership positions with Troon Golf, Osage, E-Comm, Tosco, and Circle K Stores.
Westmark holds a bachelor’s degree from Western International University and an associate’s degree in Applied Science in Electronics from DeVry University.
