Q. What is Cable ONE's Online Bill Payment?
A. The Online Bill Payment service provides Cable ONE customers access to view their current balance and to make payments to their account.
Q. How do I register for Cable ONE’s Online Bill Payment?
A. It is easy to set up an Online Bill Payment account. On the Online Bill Payment page, select the “Register” link. You will then be directed to enter your Cable ONE account number and read our terms of use. You will then need to enter your personal account information, e-mail address, password and bill payment method. Your account number is located on your Cable One paper billing statement. (Make sure to keep your password and security information private and safe.) When you are finished entering this information, select the “Submit” link.
Q. Once I am registered, how do I re-access my Online Bill Payment Account?
A. Once you are registered on the Online Bill Payment system, you may access your Online Bill Payment account at any time by entering your Cable ONE account number and Online Bill Payment password from the Payment Center web page.
Q. How soon after I receive my Cable ONE bill can I make a payment online?
A. You can make a payment online at any time.
Q. How will I know my payment was successfully processed?
A. Your last payment amount will appear in the Online Payment History web page after a payment is confirmed. You will also receive an e-mail from Cable ONE confirming a payment was made to your account. Your payment will also appear on your next Cable One service billing statement.
Q. How can I prove I made my payment?
A. You can print out the final “Payment Confirmation Letter” generated after your payment is completed. Keep this document for your records.
Q. Can I still mail my payment?
A. Yes, you can continue to mail payments. Registration for Online Bill Payment allows you the option to pay your Cable One service(s) balance online; however, you are not required to make online payments.
Q. What are the minimum Internet browser requirements needed to use the Online Bill Payment?
A. Your browser must be Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox version 2.0 or higher, or Netscape Navigator 7.0 or higher.
Q. What are the benefits of making an Online Bill Payment?
A. It is fast and free to use!! -- Saves time writing checks; saves money on postage; no risk of the mail system losing your check; no trips to a local office to make a payment.
Q. Can I view my entire billing statement online?
A. Not at this time. The Online Bill Payment only provides customers with access to account balance information.
Q. How secure is my bill payment and personal information?
A. Cable ONE uses the following methods to protect your personal information:
- SSL and Encryption – We use secure socket layer (SSL) and encryption technology to secure your connection and make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet to our servers.
- Account time out – If you are inactive for longer than 60 minutes, your Online Bill Payment session will expire. You will have to log back in to continue. We recommend that you always log out after you are finished viewing and/or paying your account balance.
Q. Is Online Bill Payment risky?
A. Online Bill Payment may be actually less risky than mailing check payments. Online payments have less risk of getting lost, stolen or destroyed.
